Hi, I’m Erin. I’m a writer, actor and YouTube producer who lives with my husband and daughter in wild and wonderful Portland, Oregon. When I’m not working, I love to travel and feast on veg and gluten-free cuisine. Whether parking myself behind the mic for a voice-over session, whipping up some fun editorial, heading out on a road trip in my RV, or exploring new recipes in my kitchen, my life is full of adventures. Won’t you join me on some of them? Let’s go!
Behind the Mic – Ask anybody who knows me and they’ll confirm the fact that I love to hear myself talk. So what better career could suit me than being a professional voice actor? I’ve been bringing fun, relatable flavor to commercials, narration, animation and more since 2006. Hear what I’m talking about at ErinLehn.com and ErinsVoice.com where it’s always sunny… with a chance of fun!
So Not Camera Shy – In addition to being behind the mic, I like to be behind and in front of the camera too! I’m an on-camera actor who definitely isn’t camera shy. Sometimes, you gotta make your own fun, I say! With that in mind, you can often find me poking my Canon XA20 in my own face of the face of my fellow friends and actors. Thankfully, I have an outlet for many of my videos in YouTubeland.
Words, Words, Words – I love interviewing people. I love making connections over stories. I love tales of journeys to exotic places. I never mind getting stuck on a post or a paragraph, because I adore that all-of-a-sudden feeling when the right adjective or phrase pops into my head. Over the years, I’ve found several outlets that allow me to write to my heart’s content. I am a freelance writer and editor for multiple Natural Awakenings magazines around the country, and am also the RV editor at BellaOnline.com. Since travel memoirs are my favorite thing to read, I thought I’d try writing my own. It’s called Little Snowbirds: A Love Story on Wheels, and it’s available on Amazon.com. Visit LittleSnowbirds.com to learn more.
My Home, the Road – I love the feeling of the wind in my hair, so I’m crafting my life and career around opportunities that will allow me to work/play from anywhere. I’ve been an avid traveler since as far back as I can remember and especially after I bought a motorhome, nicknamed Tigs for “The Great Escape,” with my then-boyfriend/now-husband and toured the U.S. on an 18-month adventure. (Boy, did we learn a lot!) There’s nothing more invigorating than taking to the open road in your own home on wheels and being able to stop whenever you want to, wherever you want to.
Yum! – I tend toward vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free foods, which can turn even a trip to the grocery store into a culinary adventure. My passion for experimenting with new recipes in my kitchen rivals my love of travel. In my free time, I research recipes that I can remaster into vegan/gluten-free masterpieces. I’ll be posting my best ones (and the occasional explosion) right here, of course!
Life is an adventure…come share it with me.
